The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) was founded in 1969 in the UK to provide high
quality education and training in wines and spirits. Since then, WSET has grown into the foremost
international body in the field of wines and spirits education, with a suite of sought-after qualifications.
WSET Level 2 Intermediate Certificate in Wines and Spirits
4th Sep – 2nd Oct (Every Saturday evening, except 11th Sep)
Tuition Fee : HK$6480
(Include around 50 types of wine & spirit and study kit)
Course Contents : (In English)
- Introduction - course and examination, tasting technique, food and wine matching, health and alcohol and wine faults.
- Factors influencing style of wine and label terminology
- Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
- Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc
- Syrah, Grenache and Riesling
- Italy, Spain and Portugal
- Sparkling and sweet wines
- Fortified wines and spirits and liqueurs
WSET Level 2 Intermediate Exam (Include Exam Paper and Certificate issued by WSET)
Certificate Award Requirement :
Answer a multiple choice paper of 50 questions within 60 minutes
(Minimum of 55% correct to pass the exam)
